Hand excited by young GB talent

Ice Hockey UK national development head coach Tony Hand says he was excited by some of the young talent on show at today’s Great Britain Under-16s camp.

Some of the brightest young prospects in the GB programme were put through their paces at the one-day camp at Ice Sheffield.

The players were overseen by Hand and the GB U16 coaching staff, led by head coach Steven Lynch.

Hand said: “We have some fantastic young players in the Great Britain programme and there is some outstanding talent.

“It was a very good camp and it was great to see these youngsters get the chance to impress in front of the coaches.

“These players are our future and it brilliant to see that the programme has some talented players coming through.
