GB NAME SQUAD FOR WOMENS FOUR NATIONS

Great Britain have named their squad for next month’s Women’s Four Nations in Katowice.

GB will face Denmark, Italy and hosts Poland from Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th February.

The four-team round-robin tournament is being held at the Jantor Ice Rink.

Head Coach, Mike Clancy, said: “This will be great preparation for the upcoming World Championship in South Korea.

“After last year’s promotion, there’s a feel-good factor around the team and it’s important we continue in the same manner.

“We are looking forward to testing ourselves at the Division 1 level and these are exactly the matches we need to see where we are as a team.

“The coaching staff are very excited by the squad for Poland and we feel we have a great mix of youth and experience.

“Obviously, a large part of the gold medal-winning roster are part of the team, but we are also blooding some young talent who are a massive part of our future. ”

The full game schedule for the tournament will be announced soon.
