GB U20s Name Squad for Training Camp

Great Britain Under-20s have named their squad for this week’s training camp, which includes Wednesday night’s match with Hull Pirates.

GB begin a two-day training camp at Ice Sheffield tomorrow ahead of December’s World Championship (Division 1B) in Budapest.

Tommy Watkins’ side will face hosts Hungary, as well as Slovenia, Poland, Italy and Ukraine, from 11th to 17th December 2016.

Watkins said: “The coaching staff are looking forward to the week and everyone should take a lot from it.

“The camp will give us quality time to spend together and we will be able to work on our systems.

“The game in Hull will see us work on it in match situations.

“We have an important month ahead now before the World Championship.

“We have some injuries and some players unavailable. This is a great opportunity for a player to still make the team.”

Wednesday’s match with EPL side Hull faces-off at 7:30pm and the entrance fee is £5 for adults, while children are admitted free.
