Great Britain Under-20s beat Extraliga U20s side Hoba Bratislava 3-1 in Slovakia on Wednesday morning.
After a goalless first period, GB scored twice in the second and once in the third session to put the seal on a very impressive performance.
Coventry Blaze netminder Renny Marr put in a solid display, conceding only once and looking strong in between the pipes.
GB went ahead at 21:15 when Luc Johnson and Duncan Speirs combined to set up Connor Henderson.
Johnson made it 2-0, with the assists going to Speirs and Thomas Stubley (29:13), while Toms Rutkis completed the scoring at 55:59.
Head coach, Tommy Watkins, said: “This was an excellent performance and one they should all be very proud of.
“We played a very good team out there and to come away win a win is excellent.
“There were positives all over the ice and it was great to get ice time in a match situation.”
GB play their second and final game of the trip tomorrow when they take on local side St Polten, from Okanagan Austria, at 6:45pm UK time.
