The GB Men will travel to Cortina in Northern Italy in February to take part in the 2nd round of Olympic Qualification tournaments.
As Cortina is a ski resort, and the tournament takes place during School Holiday, and th Annual Cortina Carnival, it has taken a while to source hotels.
GBSC have secured rooms in a number of different hotels in and around Cortina.
Below we have listed the hotels we have sourced, unfortunately only one of the hotels in Cortina has Twin rooms (very limited availability) this is something we have found not just in Cortina but in the surrounding areas as many hotels have double beds. The other two hotels do have plenty of twin rooms.
We have received prices for transfers from Venice to the locations, but again depending on numbers we are unable to guarantee a price. We would say this is between £20 – £44 per person return journey. Transfer times are around 2 hours.
Please could you advise which hotel you would prefer (1st and 2nd choice) these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Flights are available from Stanstead, Luton, Gatwick and Heathrow through Easy Jet, BA and Ryanair to Venice.
If you have booked your flight please could you provide arrival date, time and flight no and departure date, time and flight number. This will then enable us to work out the transfer prices. Please note I am aware of people arriving on the later flight on the Wed /First flight Thursday. We can post on the Facebook Page the flights we are aware of to help in your booking process.
Once we have ticket prices from the federation we will advise accordingly.
A £30 deposit per person will secure your room.
