This weekend should have seen GB Supporters from across the country converging on Switzerland for the IIHF World Championships.
After last years tournament in Kosice, Slovakia, and with GB retaining their Pool-A status, fans were looking forward to again watching the team compete against the worlds best nations.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, the tournament was cancelled and so instead we are all stuck at home instead of sitting in a bar in Switzerland.
However, GBSC are not the type of group to let this stop them having a bit of fun. When the Icelandic volcano stopped all flights, we arranged coaches, from the airport car park, and took a 24 hour coach trip to Slovenia to watch the team play.
This time, we are holding a Virtual World Championship Trip for all GB Supporters. During the next 10 days we will be holding our welcome meeting, the General Knowledge and Music Quizzes, Crazy Golf as well as a Theme Day. We will also be showing the 7 games from last years tournament at 7pm on our game days.
