GB ‘grit’ pleases coach Ashton
Head coach, James Ashton, said: “We learnt a lot from the game against Spain. We changed the lines for the third period last night and carried that over today.

“The girls were up very early for training this morning. We had some productive time talking about where we could improve and the girls responded.

“There was a lot of grit and hard work which helped us to get the win. The girls know the international level we want to be at.

“We came here as a group and after today, I believe we were more structured and more of a team. We need to keep that rolling into tomorrow.”
