Traill creates history by becoming first UK player to be drafted to NWHL
Great Britain Women’s Casey Traill has created history by becoming the first UK player to be drafted to the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL).
The NWHL is one of the two top women’s professional league in North America – the equivalent to the NHL – and Traill was drafted in the fifth round – 25th overall – by Buffalo Beauts in last night’s 2021 Draft.
Kirk Signs NHL Entry-Level Contract with Coyotes
Great Britain forward Liam Kirk has signed an three-year entry-level contract with NHL side Arizona Coyotes.
Kirk, who was selected in the seventh round of the NHL Draft back in 2018, made a spectacular impact at this year’s World Championship in Latvia.
