Great Britain Women have named their captaincy team for the World Championship Division 2 Group A, which gets under way in Gangneung tomorrow.
Leanne Ganney will captain the side with the assistants being Saffron Allen, Lauren Summers and Katie Henry.
“It’s a honour. It’s always very special to pull on a GB shirt, let alone captain the team,” said Ganney.
“The girls make it even more of an honour as they are such a great group. They help me along the way, it’s amazing.”
GB start the six-team tournament tomorrow with a game against top seeds Netherlands.
“I expect a physical and strong game,” continued Ganney. “They are very strong girls.
“I think our speed will help us in the game. We are a very quick team.”
GB Women against Netherlands gets under way at 4:30pm local time (8:30am in the UK).
