WOMEN’S OQ: GB v SPAIN PREVIEW

It’s game two for Great Britain in the women’s Olympic Qualifiers as they face Spain at the Bauer Arena in iceSheffield.

GB began their campaign with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Latvia on opening day, while Spain were beaten 2-0 by Netherlands.

Jodie Alderson-Smith, Katie Henry and Katherine Gale – on her 50th cap – were all on target for GB in the win over Latvia.

The winners of the four-team group will progress to Final Olympic Qualifying in February 2025 for a place at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

There are no injury problems to report with GB expecting to ice a fully-fit 22-player line-up.
