Defenceman Liam Steele has been added to the Great Britain roster for this week’s IIHF European Cup of Nations at Murrayfield Ice Rink in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, netminder Ben Bowns and forward Josh Waller have had to withdraw from the squad because of injury.
Steele made his first GB senior appearances in the Cup of Nations tournament in Poland in November.
The 21-year-old played in the Junior A British Columbia Hockey League as a youngster and has represented GB at under-18 and under-20 level.
The highly-rated young prospect is currently scoring at just under a point per game for NIHL side Sheffield Steeldogs.
GB will host Poland, Slovenia and Ukraine from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th February at the famous old ice rink.
