Clancy appointed GB Women Head Coach

Mike Clancy has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Great Britain Women.
The 46-year-old moves up from his previous role as Assistant Coach after first joining the GB programme as Head Coach of the men’s under-16s in 2019.
Clancy has worked with England Under 16s/17s and U19s, as well as coaching The Midlands in the Conference programme.

Richardson Replaces Mosey in GB World Championship Squad

Defenceman Mark Richardson has replaced Evan Mosey in the Great Britain squad for the World Championship in Latvia later this month.

Richardson has won 87 caps for his country since making his debut back in 2005, with the 34-year-old scoring six goals and contributing 17 assists for 23 points.

Swindlehurst call-up completes GB World Championship roster

Defenceman Paul Swindlehurst has been named in the Great Britain team for the World Championship next month.
The 27-year-old, who has recovered from injury and played in both of Coventry Blaze’s Elite Series playoff games this week, completes GB’s 28-man roster for the tournament in Riga.

Great Britain Name World Championship Squad

Great Britain Head Coach Peter Russell has named his team for next month’s World Championship in Latvia.

Countries can select a 28-player roster for this year’s tournament and Russell has announced an initial 27, with one player to be added in the coming days.

Former Olympian Clifton Wrottesley appointed as new chair of IHUK

Clifton Wrottesley has been appointed as a Director and the new Chair of Ice Hockey UK.
Following an open advert and competitive interview, Wrottesley will replace Richard Grieveson who announced he was standing down back in December.
