Belfast World Championship Tickets On Sale on Friday

The World Championship (Division 1B) will be hosted by Ice Hockey UK for the first time in 25 years when the international ice hockey tournament takes place at The SSE Arena, Belfast from Sunday 23rd April to Saturday 29th April 2017.
Tickets will go on sale Friday 18th November at 10am and fans are able to buy through various outlets – online through Ticketmaster, from the Arena Box Office in person or by calling 028 9073 9074.

Prince At The Double But GB Beaten in Cardiff

Great Britain lost for the second night in succession after going down 4-2 in Cardiff to Norway who are currently ranked 11th in the World.
It was an inexperienced GB group who took to the ice in Wales with a total of eight players making their debuts for their country. However, there was no mistaking the willingness of Pete Russell’s men who never stopped working throughout the evening.

GB Men Edged Out By Norway

Two goals in the first three minutes of the final period gave Norway a 2-1 win over Great Britain at Nottingham’s National Ice Centre on Tuesday night.
World ranked 11, Norway are playing a two-game Autumn International series with Great Britain as preparation for April’s World Championships in Belfast. The second game in tomorrow night (Wednesday 2 November) at Cardiff’s Ice Arena Wales (7.30pm).

The famous Golden Arches logo is appearing on the GB shirts for this week’s international matches with Norway in Nottingham and Cardiff.

The two sides go head-to-head in Nottingham’s National Ice Centre this evening (7:30pm) and then again at the Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff tomorrow night (7:30pm).

Myers Always Proud To Wear GB Shirt

Forward Matthew Myers says he is looking forward to pulling on a Great Britain shirt against Norway at Nottingham’s National Ice Centre next week.
The Cardiff-born 31-year-old only left the Panthers in the summer to sign back with his hometown club, but will make a return to Nottingham on Tuesday in GB colours.
