IHUK appoint Hand and Beggs to new development roles

Ice Hockey UK have appointed Tony Hand MBE as their first national development head coach.
He will work alongside Mark Beggs who will have an expansion of his current role and becomes national talent identification officer.

The dates for the 2017 World Championship (Division 1B) at The SSE Arena in Belfast have been confirmed and it will take place from 23 – 29 April April 2017.

The venues for the 2017 World Championship venues have been revealed at the annual IIHF Congress, which is taking place this year in Moscow, Russia.
All the world’s federations meet and vote – along with the IIHF Council members – on where the tournaments will be played.
