Great Britain Under-18 Women have left for Hungary today (Monday) for this week’s four-team international tournament.
GB will come up against Hungary U18 Women, as well as Poland U18 Women and Spain Women, from Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th October 2016 in Budapest
It is the second year of the tournament after Spain Women won the inaugural event in Ice Sheffield last season.
GB begin the tournament with a game against Hungary U18 Women tomorrow (Tuesday), followed by Poland U18 Women on Wednesday and Spain Women on Thursday.
Coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “Everyone is looking forward to the trip and the players will take a lot from it.
“We are taking a young squad but that just underlines how much talent we have in the programme at the moment.
“It will be good to see how these players react in game situations.
“It will be a tough tournament but one which will help us no end.”
