GB U16s Undergo Successful Two-day Camp

Great Britain Under-16s underwent their latest training camp which took place in Sheffield.

The two-day camp was held at Ice Sheffield and the GB youngsters had a mixture of on-ice and off-ice sessions.

GB U16 head coach, Steven Lynch, said: “It was a very good couple of days and the coaches learnt a lot about the players.

“They responded well to everything we did at the on and off-ice sessions.”

Ice Hockey UK national development head coach Tony Hand was in attendance across the two days.

“It has gone really well,” he said. “The players were pushed hard and it is great to see positive reaction.

“We have already seen progression from earlier in the season and a lot of players have come a long way.”
