GB to play Hungary in Coventry and Nottingham

Great Britain will face Hungary twice in April as part of their preparations for this year’s World Championship.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 13th January at 10am.

The two sides will meet in the Skydome in Coventry on Tuesday 21st April (7:30pm), before going head-to-head at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham the following day, Wednesday 22nd April (7:30pm).

The two matches complete GB’s international challenge games in April, as they will also face Canada, Kazakhstan and Poland (twice) ahead of leaving for Switzerland.

GB head coach, Pete Russell, said: “We have a terrific rivalry with Hungary and have had some great battles with them in the past couple of years.

“They are a great nation and we look forward to renewing our rivalry in April after we, of course, have met in the Olympic Qualifiers next month.

“I think we have an excellent set of fixtures to get ready for the World Championship.”
