Great Britain’s ice hockey teams now know the venue and dates for next year’s World Championship tournaments.
GB Men secured their top-flight status for a second year on Monday with a dramatic 4-3 overtime victory against France.
Next year’s World Championship will take place in Switzerland from 8th to 24th May 2020 and the groups – to be staged in Zurich and Lausanne – will be announced after the culmination of the 2019 tournament this weekend.
Great Britain Women off to Spain
GB Women will play Spain, Mexico and DPR Korea, along with promoted Chinese Taipei and relegated Latvia in the World Championship Division II Group A.
The six-team tournament will be hosted in Granada, Spain, from 27th March to 3rd April 2020.
Great Britain Under-20s to travel to Lithuania
GB U20s will face Lithuania, Romania and Spain, along with relegated Japan and promoted Serbia.
The Division II Group A tournament will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 6th to 12th January 2020.
Estonia the venue for Great Britain Under-18s
Following last season’s relegation, GB U18s will meet Lithuania, Estonia, Romania and Korea, along with promoted Serbia.
Tallinn, Estonia, will be the venue for the Division II Group A tournament from 22nd to 28th March 2020.
Great Britain U18 Women to Poland
GB U18s Women will play Norway, Poland and China, along with promoted Korea and relegated Austria next year.
The Division I Group B tournament will take place in Katowice, Poland, from 3rd January to 9th January 2020.
