GB Go Head to Head with Korea

The two undefeated teams at the World Championship in Eindhoven go head-to-head as Great Britain face Korea this afternoon.

GB have begun their Division 1B campaign with a 3-2 overtime victory over Croatia and 2-1 win against Estonia.

Korea, coached by former Nottingham Panthers d-man Jimmy Paek, beat Estonia 7-3 in their opening game and then recorded a 7-1 win over Netherlands.

Great Britain coach, Pete Russell, said: “Korea are a very good team and will be dangerous from the off.

“They are one of the best teams at this tournament and have already racked up some goals.

“But we have plenty of self-belief and I love the way we are playing with passion.

“The boys are all excited about the game but are focused and ready for the challenge in hand.”

GB against Korea faces-off at 4pm UK time this afternoon.
