Great Britain beat Spain 4-0 in a warm-up game in Kaunas this evening ahead of the the U20 World Championship Division II Group A getting under way on Sunday.
Zaine McKenzie, Bayley Harewood, Jack Hopkins and a short-handed goal from Liam Steele ensured a comfortable victory for GB.
The shutout was shared between netminders Dan Crowe and Ben Norton.
Head Coach, Martin Grubb, said: “This was a good solid showing by the team.
“It was important to see the guys in a game situation and tonight’s game has really helped the coaches.
“There were plenty of positives but things to work on too and we now have a two solid days of practice to get ready for our opening game.”
GB get their tournament under way on Sunday against hosts Lithuania before facing Croatia, Netherlands, Romania and Spain in the six-team group.
