Great Britain’s Ben O’Connor has been named as the Defenceman of the Tournament at the IIHF World Chmpionships Div 1B in Zagreb, Coratia.
O’Connor, who had the most points for a d-man in the group, finished with eight points (1+7) in five matches and was GB’s leading points-scorer.
He was the tournament’s second-highest points-scorer behind Robert Rooba of Estonia, who finished with four goals and four assists for his eight points in five games.
