Joey Lewis will win his first Great Britain cap this evening against Finland in the World Championship after being named on the 22-man gameday roster.
The 26-year-old Newport-born forward is currently playing in the DEL2 in Germany with ESV Kaufbeuren.
Lewis made 10 appearances for Great Britain U20s and 10 for GB Under-18s.
He was presented with his debut cap by head coach Pete Russell, while general manager Andy Buxton made a short speech.
Lewis said: “It is such a massive honour to win my first cap. I am so proud.
“We have a fantastic set of guys and to share this moment with them is brilliant.”
